Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi Mi 5C 4G smartphone finally. This phone is a little different though. Design:
Xiaomi Mi5C is a classy metal-clad smartphone with the sleek metal finish and round 2.5 D edges . It feels very premium in hand and looks absolutely stunning. Camera:
The Xiaomi Mi 5C has a 16MP back camera and a 8MP front camera. The stock camera app has functions like Beautify, Tilt-Shift, Panorama and HHT mode. Tap on the triple circle icon to access the camera filters. The fact Xiaomi’s Surge S1 chips dual-camera is pretty nice. For example, the same Huawei Kirin 955 on the Huawei P9 doesn’t support this feature. And the manufacturer has to use additional ISP.
Manual focusing speeds is very quick and keep the focused object look sharp. But for continuous auto focus, it can sometimes fail to focus on the target object. Macro shots can be done with a maximum distance of 10-15cm between camera and object.
Battery:
The 2860mAh battery seems a little small with the fact that the Mi5S with the same screen size manage to pack in a 3200mAh battery. I wouldn’t mind if the phone was a little thicker for space to add in a larger battery. It still lasted the throughout the day with moderate use.
