Samsung keeps impressing us by rolling the latest security patch to their devices as quick as possible. Now the company started rolling the January 2020 Android security patch for the Samsung Galaxy A20 (SM-A205F) with build number A205FXXS6ASL4. The update is rolling over the air for the users with the Samsung Galaxy A20 device in the Thailand region.

As we speak, the update is live for the Thailand region which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. If you haven’t received the update on your Galaxy A20 device, then you can manually check the software update.

Samsung Galaxy A20: Overview

The Galaxy A20 handset comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 720×1560 pixels resolution. It offers Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio screen. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie over One UI out-of-the-box. It’s powered by the octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC coupled with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU.

The device features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage options. While the storage can be expandable up to 1TB via a MicroSD card. It packs a dual rear camera of 13MP+5MP sensors along with the LED flash, Panorama, HDR, etc. While the front features an 8MP selfie camera.

In terms of connectivity, the device includes a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, Micro USB port, etc. It has a non-removable Li-Po 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The Galaxy A20/A20E also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity, compass sensor.

Check The Software Update

Go to Settings App > Go to System > Tap on System Updates. Now hit the option Check for Updates. Now, if the A205FXXS6ASL4  update is available for the device, you will get a notification to download it.

Before downloading, make sure to charge your device up to 50% or more. Use the WiFi connection to download faster and avoid charges from the operator.
