Samsung is rolling out a new software update for its flagship Galaxy A9 2018. It brings the latest November 2018 security patch from Android with the new build number A920FXXU1ARL4. It is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The OTA update is dropping in batches in the South Asian region and will roll into all the devices gradually.
If the OTA delays to show up on your device, you can look for it manually. Go to your device Settings > System Update > Tap on Check for Latest Updates. If the update is available it will show up with the new build number. Then download and install it. Use a Wi-Fi to save carrier data charges while downloading. Supported Regions are India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh.
