  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap Advanced features.
  • Tap Motions and gestures.
  • Move the switch for Lift to wake to the right to turn it on.

How to Lift to unlock?

Once you’ve set up Lift to wake, together with Face Recognition, there’s one last thing that you must do in order to make unlocking your Galaxy S20 screen more efficient. Follow the steps below:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap Biometrics and security.
  • Tap Face recognition.
  • Draw your pattern or enter the PIN or password to unlock the Face Recognition menu.
  • Tap Done or Next.
