Asus is all set to release the latest smartphone its Zenfone series which is the premium series from the company. We have already known that the successor to the last year’s Asus Zenfone 3 series smartphones will be launched later this year and the smartphones will come under the Asus Zenfone 4 series. The Asus Zenfone 4 series has already been rumored to come with bigger and better specifications than the Asus Zenfone 3. However, now the Asus Zenfone 4 has been spotted on the famous benchmarking site GeekBench where the internals of the smartphone have now been known.
As far as the listing is concerned, the phone visiting the benchmarking site means that the smartphones are going to be launched very soon. Asus ZenFone 4 bearing model number ASUS_Z01KD has got listed on the benchmarking site. Asus ZenFone 4 will be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 2.21GHz. Under the hood will be stocked a 4GB RAM. On the software front, it will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This is the information that the listing reveals, however, the benchmarking site is not much of a help when it comes to knowing about the other modules like camera or battery.
As per the previous reports about the Asus Zenfone 4 series, the ASUS ZenFone 4 lineup includes ZenFone 4 ZE554KL that exists in two models viz ASUS_Z01KDA and ASUS_Z01KD. One of which has been detailed above whereas the other model is expected to be the same with some changes in battery or camera. Apart from that, the Asus Zenfone 4 will have some more models which may be the budget variants or may come with bigger size. They are ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL), ZenFone 4 Pro (Z01GD), ZenFone 4 Selfie (Z01M) and ZenFone 4V (V520K). As far as the launch of these smartphones is concerned, the smartphones will be launched by the company at the end of this month but the launch of the smartphones was delayed from the start of the month due to “design overhaul and efficiency upgrades.”
