BlackBerry Evolve available in India from October 10 at Rs. 24,990 ($340)

A few months ago, Optiemus unveiled a couple of BlackBerry brand smartphone in the Indian market, BlackBerry Evolve and BlackBerry EvolveX. The BlackBerry EvolveX went on sale and available in India from August and the company scheduled Blackberry Evolve smartphone for sale from September. Now, the company finally announced that the Evolve will available in the Indian market from October 10th. The phone will available on Amazon India exclusively at Rs. 24,990 price tag.

The BlackBerry Evolve comes with 5.99-inch IPS LCD display that supports 1080 x 2160 pixels of resolution and offers 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen of the phone also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 from the accidental scratches. The body dimensions of the phone are 158.9 x 76.1 x 8.4 mm and weighs 170 grams. The Evolve powered by Octa-Core Cortex-A53 CPU under the hood which clocks at 1.8 GHz along with Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 chipset.

The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage option along with micro SD card slot on board that supports up to 256 GB external storage. There is an Adreno 506 GPU inside for better graphics performance. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. It packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery inside the body along with Fast battery charging (Quick Charge 3.0) support.

The phone featured with a dual 13-megapixel camera on the back side along with Dual-LED dual-tone flash. On the front side, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling along with dedicated LED flash. There is a fingerprint scanner too on the back side just below the camera. The BlackBerry Evolve comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C, and USB OTG connectivity options. The phone will available in India in Black color.
