Celkon has launched the latest smartphone from the company in the mid-range segment which is named as the Celkon Cliq. The smartphone was launched by the company at an event held in India on July 24. As far as the smartphone is concerned, the company has priced the smartphone at Rs. 8,399. The company has been promoting this smartphone as a selfie-centric phone in the country. The smartphone will be available in India via offline as well as online stores. As far as the internals of the smartphone is concerned, the phone has some decent specifications as well as solid hardware.
Now, talking about some of the features of the Celkon Cliq, the smartphone has a 2.5D curved glass with three capacitive navigation buttons on the front. The smartphone also supports 24 regional Indian languages and has Swiftkey keyboard pre-installed. As far as the specifications are concerned, the smartphone has a 5-inch On-cell display offering HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. However, it is unclear as to which is the processor on the device. As far as the memory options are concerned, the smartphone has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage on board. The optics of the smartphone include 16MP camera on the rear that also has Live Photos like feature to capture a small video while capturing a photo. For selfies, the Celkon Cliq comes with an 8MP front facing camera.
The smartphone runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the device has a battery capacity of 2,500mAh. Other options on the smartphone include the ability to support dual SIM dual standby as well as 4G VoLTE operations in India which makes the smartphone compatible with the Reliance Jio network in the country. The smartphone has been launched in the Gold color option in India.
