The smartphone market is getting more and more competitive as time goes. With manufactures coming up with devices of varying price ranges competition is getting more tight for all manufacturers. But when it comes to premium high-end devices only a few companies stay consistent in the competition. In this, the Sout Korean company Samsung is a true leader in case of Android devices. The Galaxy S series is a pride of the company which has the lineup of devices with the top possible configuration available during their launch. The 2018 launch from Samsung on this series is the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. In this guide, you will learn to change Quick settings on Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus.

Powered commonly by the latest Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 845 SoC, the Galaxy S9 comes with a 5.8-inch display, while S9 Plus gets a 6.2-inch display. S9 gets a 4 GB RAM, while S9 Plus gets a better 6 GB RAM. The rear camera of both devices is also different with a dual camera setup of 2 sensors each of 12 MP on S9 Plus, while a single 12 MP sensor is provided with the S9. An internal storage of 64 GB is available for both devices and can be expanded up to 400GB. A 300 mAh battery for S9 and a 3500 mAh battery for S9 Plus is provided.

Steps to change Quick settings on Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus

Its been a long time since the Quick settings bar becomes part of Android devices. This is one of the best addition done on Android which increased the usability of the devices greatly. This helps a user to change settings very quickly without the hustle of navigating through many options. You can access quick settings by simply sliding from top to bottom twice on the smartphone screen. Android also comes with the ability to customize the options available on this quick settings bar. You can change the position of the icon, remove options, and change grid size. The steps to do all of them are listed below.

Steps to change icon position

  1. Swipe down twice to bring quick settings bar
  2. Tap on the three dots icon, which will be on the top right cornerQuick Settings Menu Samsung
  3. Now tap on button order
  4. Drag and move the icon to desired positions
  5. Finally, tap Done

Steps to remove icons

  1. Swipe down twice to bring quick settings bar

Steps to change grid size

  1. Swipe down twice to bring quick settings bar
  2. Tap on the three dots icon, which will be on the top right corner
  3. Now tap on button grid
