Follow the steps below in order to use QR code to connect to your Galaxy Galaxy S20/S20+ or S20 Ultra Mobile Hotspot:

The first thing that you want to do is to enable cellular or mobile data. Here’s how:

  • On any screen, swipe down from the top.
  • Tap Mobile data icon.

Once the mobile data connection is on, the next steps are to set Mobile Hotspot up and use the QR Code to connect another device without having to enter a password. Follow the steps below to do this:

  • Open the Settings app.
  • Tap Connections.
  • Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
  • Tap Mobile Hotspot.
  • Press on the QR code icon located at the top right-hand corner.
  • Scan the QR code image with your QR scanner or camera.

You will then be able to connect another device to the Mobile Hotspot without having to enter the password. Just let the second device scan the QR code on your Galaxy S20/S20+ or S20 Ultra.
