Method 1

  • Extract the Downloaded ZIP file
  • Create a folder dload in the root directory and move the update.app file in the dload folder.
  • Navigate to the phone Settings -–>Update and Click on the menu button.
  • Select Local update.
  • Tap on Update.app file to start the installation process.
  • Once the installation process is completed and Reboot your Huawei P9.

Method 2

  • Extract the Downloaded ZIP file
  • Create a folder dload in the root directory and move the update.app file in the dload folder.
  • Navigate to the phone Settings -–>Update and Click on the menu button.
  • Press “Volume Up + Volume Down and Power Button” simultaneously. The Update installation starts automatically.
  • Wait until update installation completes.
  • Done
