Recently T-Mobile rolled Android Oreo for LG G6 and today we have the very first oreo update which brings security patch level to August 2018. Along with August 2018 Security patch, the update also brings regular bug fixes and updates. The software version on the device bumps from H87220a to H87220d.

The update is rolling via OTA (Over the air) to the users with T-Mobile LG G6 with model number LG-H872 in the US. If you have still not received the update, then you can force download latest OTA updates on your device.  The rollout is in a staged manner. It may take a couple of days or weeks to reach every T-Mobile LG G6 users. To receive the OTA update notification, you must be running stock firmware.

Go to settings—> about phone —> system update
