On this page, we will guide you on how to install the official firmware flash file on your HTC One A9 (codenamed HIAEUHL/HIAEUL). How to Flash HTC One A9 Firmware File
Method 1:
1. Enable ‘USB debugging’ option from Settings –> Developer options –>. (To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.)
2. Download and Install ADB and fastboot driver for windows or ADB and Fastboot for Mac.
3. Extract the .Zip file
4. Copy the Extracted files to the folder where adb is installed.
5. Restart the HTC One A9 into recovery mode. by Connecting to your PC and execute the below command prompt ( Hold Shift + Right mouse click then Select Open Window from here)
adb reboot recovery
Or Manually reboot into recovery mode by following the below steps.
- Switch off your device
- Press and hold the Power + Volume Down buttons at the same time.
- In download Mode, You can use Volume Up and Down keys to navigate and the power button to confirm.
6. In case you see any dead Android with an exclamation mark on the bottom and then click and hold the Power button and Volume Up buttons.
7. Now flash the ZIP file on HTC One A9 by executing the command below.
adb sideload file_name.zip
8. Wait until the process completes

5) Now from recovery Choose Install update from phone storage.
6) Now select OTA file and wait for the process to complete.

Method 3:
- Boot your device into fastboot mode.
- On your computer, open the command window.
- Connect your device to the PC using a USB cable.
- In the command window, enter the following command to flash the RUU firmware
fastboot oem rebootRUU htc_fastboot flash zip <file_name>.zip
- Wait for the “finished. Total time: xx sec” before doing anything. Then:
fastboot reboot
- That’s it!
