Getting into a fight against the Kraken in the sea will be one heck of an experience in Sea of Thieves. If you’re on a Sloop, this experience won’t get much difficult but if you’re any other boat type, then the Kraken can turn into your death sentence. Most of the players still haven’t encountered the Kraken in Sea of Thieves. Finding the Kraken yourself and getting into a fight is an experience that you really need.
In this guide today, we’ll dive further into finding the Kraken in Sea of Thieves so that you can also spawn it in the game. While there’s plenty much that you must acknowledge before finding it, we’ll try to keep the guide short and simple but something definite. So without any further ado, let’s look at how to find and spawn the Kraken in Sea of Thieves.
How to find and spawn the Kraken in Sea of Thieves
You cannot really start a fight with the mighty Kraken on purpose. This means that you can’t actually find the Kraken; the Kraken comes to you. The Kraken spawns randomly in the deep sea, and on any boat type. However, although it is the Kraken that finds you in Sea of Thieves, you can actually do something in order to increase the chances of it finding you, or perhaps you should acknowledge this to avoid an encounter with the Kraken!
Like we already mentioned, the Kraken spawns mostly in the deep sea – at times when there are no active cloud events on the map. So if you really want the Kraken to find you, all you need to do is steer into the deep water when there is no Skeleton Fort skull cloud or Skeleton Fleet ship cloud visible in the sky. This is your best bet to expose yourself to the Kraken. You’ll know that Kraken has arrived when the water around you turns into inky black. You can also keep this information in mind at times you’re trying to avoid the Kraken. Good luck!
Summing up our guide, there is really no way that you can use to find and purposefully spawn the Kraken in Sea of Thieves. However, steering into the deep water when there are no active cloud events on the map will expose yourself to the Kraken and it will most probably spawn at you in such instances.
