Boot into safe mode

  1. Press and hold the power button while the device is powered on
  2. Keep holding until the device restart in safe mode

Check if the screen flickering issue is occurring even in safe mode. If this issue is missing then a third-party app is causing the issue. You can them simply solve it by uninstalling the app.

Clear cache partition

  1. Power off the device
  2. Press and hold power button, home button, and volume up button to reach recovery mode
  3. Use volume buttons to highlight wipe cache partitions and use power button to select
  4. Confirm when prompted

Hard reset

  1. Open settings
  2. Scroll down and tap on back & reset
  3. Tap on factory data reset
  4. Now tap on Reset phone
  5. Tap on erase everything
