Samsung always ensures a bug-free system update, hence we keep seeing a series of beta tests prior to the official rollout of new Android OS. Following the same routine for Android 10, the Korean OEM is currently rolling out the third One UI 2.0 beta for Galaxy Note 10 Series. Note 10 is receiving the software with N970FXXU1ZSK4N build. At the same time, Note 10 Plus is getting the third One UI 2.0 beta based on Android 10 with build N975FXXU1ZSK4N. Adding icing to the cake, Samsung is also pushing the December 2019 security patch with the current beta updates.
Users should note that the latest ZSK4N Android 10 beta is rolling out for the Exynos variant of Note 10 series. So, if you happen to be in India, then you should receive this update. The current update is a follow-up to the previous ZSK8 update. We can expect this same software to make way into the Snapdragon model-based Note 10/Note 10 Plus in other regions. Previously, the US Unlocked Note 10 series have received the N970U1UEU2ZSKH Android 10 beta.
Now, it does feel that this may be the last beta before a stable rollout. That will be possible when the current beta resolves existing bugs and itself doesn’t bring any new bug. Speaking of which, the new beta update brings a lot of fixups for the flagship duo.
The ZSK4N update fixes up the problem of cutting the world-clock time in AOD. It also solves the exception issue while pressing the image attachment menu in S Note. The Bluetooth headset disconnection in the midst of using has been solved. The problem with icons getting framed after using Dex has been fixed as well. The keyboard position overlap at the gesture movement area on the display has been solved.
Other issues like My Files not displaying the SD card and sound transmission through earphones have been fixed. The ZSK4N also fixes the screen blackening/blinking issue. Event hovering on Calendar day/week with S Pen used to show an operational error. Now, it’s fixed.
The N970FXXU1ZSK4N and N975FXXU1ZSK4N update will only be available to those who are beta users under the One UI 2.0 program. Check-in your device Settings > System Update. The ZSK4N update weighs close to 400 MB. So, we recommend downloading it using Wi-Fi.
We must mention here that Samsung is no more accepting new beta testers. This again signifies that the stable Android 10 update for Galaxy Note 10 series is not far away. So, if you have are a beta tester, make sure to grab the latest update for your Note 10/Note 10 Plus.
