A simple lookout location for pinecones would be under the pine trees, which is obvious. All you have to do is keep an eye on the shining sign beneath a pine tree or fir tree. These have narrow trunks and short, inconsistent branches with thinly spread out leaves. Elemental Sight can be used to pinpoint where they grow in a group.

Wolvendom at the north of Dawn Winery has pinecones scattered across it randomly, which can definitely add up to a bigger number even though the one-time collection might seem small.

Even though it is far from Springvale, Quingce Village by Q quick access gives way to nine pinecones situated on a bridge located on the western side, making it worth the trip.

In the extreme north of Stormbearer mountains, north of Mondstadt, while proceeding to Anemo Hypostasis, a lot of fir trees can be spotted on the way underneath which you can find pinecones. It has about ten pinecones.

In Cape Oath, maneuver northwards till you reach the pinecone cluster. You can easily find five pinecones there.
