In Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima, animals have a vital role to play. There exist no specific map markers or displays of any sort in the game. Therefore, you need to follow animals like foxes and golden birds in order to be led to places of crucial importance. In the game, foxes will take you to Inari Shrines, where you can pray to earn extra slots for charms, and certain Minor charms as well.
Inari Shrines will help you acquire certain perks and passive skills, which come in handy during combat. There are a total of 49 fox dens in Ghost of Tsushima, scattered throughout the map. In this all-new guide, we will take you through the location of each and every fox den in the game.
About Inari Shrines in Ghost of Tsushima
Inari Shrines in Ghost of Tsushima resemble little huts, usually with the statue of a fox nearby. They are present all across the game – concealed in caves, behind trees, and some otherwise unnoticeable places as well. In order to find them, you will have to locate a fox den first. The fox will greet you and then move into the forest, expecting you to follow.
This will then lead you to a unique Inari Shrine. Apart from this, you may also use one of your technique points to buy the ability to track Inari Shrines using the guiding wind. After you manage to locate all 49 Inari Shrines, you will be rewarded with a trophy and a unique in-game mask, known as the Wolf of Tsushima mask! This a Vanity item that allows Jin to cosplay as a wolf.
