Steps to Install Huawei Honor 8 Pro Oreo Manually

• You should have an Unlocked Bootloader and TWRP Recovery on Huawei Honor 8 Pro.
• Install ADB and Fastboot Zip/tool on your PC.
• Download the Recovery file given above and move it into the ADB Fastboot folder on your PC.
• Inside the same ADB and Fastboot folder, Create a new folder called HWOTA.
• Now take your phone and boot into TWRP Recovery –> Turn off, wait –> Now Press and hold Volume UP and Power button to enter recovery mode. (leave power button when you see the Honor logo)
• Tap on Wipe –> Formate data, Yes to decrypt (Warning: This option will wipe all your data)
• Now transfer the HWOTA and Recovery files to the internal storage of your device.
• In TWRP, Select the Advanced —> Terminal option
• There you need to enter the command given below one by one. The first command is to create the update folder inside the Device storage, whereas the second command will move the HWOTA folder to inside the newly created folder update folder.

  mkdir /data/update 
  mv /sdcard/HWOTA /data/update/HWOTA

• You can flash both the recoveries using TWRP terminal command:

  dd if=/sdcard/DUK-RECOVERY-NoCheck.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery_a 
  dd if=/sdcard/DUK-RECOVERY2-NoCheck.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/recovery2_a

• Now you can flash the Oreo update package that you moved into the HWOTA folder by entering the command.

  echo --update_package=/data/update/HWOTA/update.zip >> /cache/recovery/command 
  echo --update_package=/data/update/HWOTA/update_data_full_public.zip >> /cache/recovery/command
