Honor has finally launched the much-awaited version of the company’s flagship smartphone in the Honor Holly lineup, the Honor Holly 3+. The Honor Holly 3 was launched in October last year in Taiwan and now, the Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched the Honor Holly 3+ which is an upgrade to the Honor Holly 3. Talking about the upgrade from the Honor Holly 3, the smartphone is similar in look and feel but the Honor Holly 3+ has been upgraded in the storage as well as memory department. The Honor Holly 3+ has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 12,999 and the smartphone will be available through the offline channels in India.
Talking about the smartphone’s specifications, the Honor Holly 3+ features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Kirin 620 octa-core CPU. The difference from the Honor 3 is that the Holly 3+ comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage compared to the 2GB/ 16GB storage option for its predecessor. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB). Also, the latest model continues to run on EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow instead of Android 7.0 Nougat. Talking about the camera on the Honor Holly 3+, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies, both coming with f/2.0 apertures. The Honor Holly 3+ has the exact same battery as last year’s Honor Holly 3 and the battery capacity on the smartphone is 3100mAh. As far as the connectivity options on the smartphone are concerned, the Honor Holly 3+ has 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth v4.0. Also, the smartphone supports Dual-SIM operations as well.
Talking about the availability of the smartphone, the Holly 3+ is currently available in the offline markets at a price of Rs. 12,999 as mentioned above. However, we have not received any details about the availability of smartphone at online stores in India.
