Borderlands 3 was the third entry in the fan favourite looter shooter franchise. The game got released last year and has done pretty well with over five million copies sold. One of the interesting addition in the DLC is the Cure Shotgun.

The Cure Shotgun belongs to the very rare weapon category. It’s one of the most powerful weapons in the game. The feature of this gun is that if you land a critical hit, the bullet bounces off and hits another enemy. That makes it a pretty good gun for intense fights with a lot of enemies. The weapon can be obtained pretty easily. If you are wondering how to do it, here is a quick guide on how to get the gun.

How to Get The Cure Shotgun on Borderlands 3?

To get the Cure Shotgun in Borderlands 3, you have to first progress through the DLC. Once you reach the quest The Case of Wainwright Jakobs, you’ll be investigating a wedding wherein you have to stop a ritual. As you progress, you’ll see that Wainwright will get a ring that looks like an eldritch. However, when you start heading back to the lodge, you will see that he starts transforming.  To avoid that, the ring should be removed by us but its powers is evolving Wainwright into something else. To make sure he doesn’t act against others, he lends you his weapon, the Cure Shotgun. The weapon automatically levels up to your current level and can be used normally in the game.
