Firmware Installation Guide

There are two ways to upgrade your device to Android 9.0 Pie. First, upgrade by recovery or you can ADB sideload the ROM zip file. We will provide the guide for both the methods so it will be easier for you to follow.

Upgrade HTC U11 to Android Pie by Recovery

Step-1 Download the ROM zip file


Step-2 Move it to your device storage.

Step-3 Now switch off your device

Step-4 Enter the device into recovery mode by holding the Power button and Volume Down button together.


Step-5 Now your device will be in Stock Recovery. Using volumes keys to scroll, go to Apply Updates.

Step-6 Now browse through the folders where you moved your firmware file. Select it by pressing the Power button.

Step-7 Confirm the installation. Wait while the system update installs. That’s it.
