Huawei has launched the latest Y series of smartphones from the company which is the latest series focused on the mid-range smartphones by the company. As far as the smartphones are concerned, the Huawei Y series consists of the Huawei Y3, Huawei Y5 and the Huawei Y7 2017. As far as the launch of the smartphones is concerned, Huawei had already launched the smartphones in various other countries including Europe. Now, the Huawei Y series smartphones have been launched in Egypt to add to the list of the markets in which the smartphone is available.
Talking about the specifications of the Huawei Y3 2017, the smartphone comes with a quad-core MediaTek MT6580M chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. It features a 5.0-inch FWVGA display and packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage. The 3G-enabled phone comes with an 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and is backed by a 2,200mAh battery. On the other side, the Huawei Y5 2017 comes with better specifications than the Huawei Y3 2017, the smartphone comes with a 5.0-inch HD display, 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. Apart from that, the Huawei Y7 2017 which is the highest variant among the three smartphones launched by Huawei comes with much better specifications then the Y3 and Y5. As far as the specifications of the Y7 2017 are concerned, the smartphone has a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 4G support, 12MP primary camera, 8MP selfie shooter, and a massive 4,000mAh battery.
Talking about the pricing and availability details of the smartphone, the details of its availability, as well as pricing, are not known yet but the smartphones are expected to be available in the country via all the major retail stores in Egypt. Do note that the Huawei Y3 and Y5 smartphones run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow whereas the Huawei U7 runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s custom skin EMUI on top.
