Lava has launched a new smartphone in its Lava A series of budget smartphones and the latest smartphone to come in the Lava A series is the Lava A93. The smartphone was launched by Lava in an event held in India and the company has also revealed the pricing of the smartphone. The Lava A93 will be available in India at a starting price of Rs. 7999. The Lava A93, however, is a 3G smartphone and the smartphone is not compatible with the 4G networks in India. Apart from that, the Lava A93’s availability has not been confirmed by the company but the smartphone has been listed on the company’s official website.
As far as the specifications of the smartphone are concerned, the Lava A93 comes with 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Talking about the hardware specs, the Lava smartphone employs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor of unknown chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of default memory capacity that can be expanded further up to 32GB with the help of a microSD card. In terms of camera specifications, the Lava A93 has an 8MP main camera snapper at its rear with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera also with LED flash.
However, there are glaring omissions in the Lava A93 which cannot be missed by the current Indian smartphone buyers and that is the phone does not have 4G support in India which has become the standard for every smartphone that has been released in India. Apart from that, the smartphone doesn’t come with the fingerprint scanner which again is a standard and a much-needed feature in every smartphone around the world for the better security it provides due to unlocking of the smartphone through the fingerprint of the owner. Also, the Lava A93, as mentioned earlier, will be sold in India for a price of Rs. 7999 and the smartphone is expected to come in the offline markets as well.
