Lineage OS 17.1 GSI developed by XDA Recognized Contributor AndyYan on this XDA Forum with the Phh’s Source of Android 10 GSI (phhusson). To install this, you need to unlock the bootloader and install the latest TWRP Recovery on your device.
Well, GSI stands for Generic System image which is a “pure Android” implementation with unmodified Android Open Source Project (AOSP) code, runnable on a variety of Android devices that has treble support. Yes, now you can enjoy the new Lineage OS 17.1 based on Android 10, which is Google’s 10th version of Android OS with plenty of new features and system UI changes.
Doogee Y8 Plus Device Overview
Doogee Y8 Plus was announced in March 2019 which sports a 6.21-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels with 271 PPI pixel density. The device is protected by 2.5D curved glass screen.
Doogee Y8 Plus is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 31GB of internal storage. It also supports an external memory card. The device came out of the box with Android 9.0 Pie and backed by a 4000 mAh battery (Non-removable).
As far as the camera concerned, the device has a Dual-camera setup with 13MP + 8MP primary sensors and a selfie camera with an 8MP lens. Other connectivity option includes 4G-VoLTE, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, Mobile Hotspot, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass/ magnetometer. etc. The Doogee Y8 Plus come with a rear fingerprint sensor feature.

The Android 10 also offers built-in call screening, multi-camera API, smart replies in the notification panel, 5G support, improved call quality, bubble feature, live caption, and more.
