Update MadOS on Wiko Fever Android 8.1 Oreo based on AOSP (MT6753)

Wiko Fever was launched in September 2015. The device came out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and later upgraded to Android Nougat. There is no official statement if the device will receive official Android Oreo update. But, don’t worry. Now you can enjoy the Android Oreo by using this Custom ROM called MadOS. Yes, you can now install MadOS on Wiko Fever which is based on latest Android 8.1 Oreo.

Talking about the device, Wiko Fever features a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080P (1080 x 1920 pixel). It is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor coupled with 2/3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device supported to expand the memory with up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Wiko Fever sports a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. The handset is backed by 2900 mAh non-removable battery.

To install this MadOS on Wiko Fever, First of all, you need to Unlock Bootloader on your device, and then Install TWRP Recovery. If you already have TWRP, then you can simply follow the below guide to Install TWRP Recovery. We also shared officially Supported device list of Android Oreo and also Supported device list of Lineage OS 15.0.

Pre-Requisite:

Instructions to Install:

  1. First of all, you need to Unlock Bootloader on Wiko Fever (Most MediaTek device comes with Unlocked Bootloader, So skip this)
  2. Now install TWRP Recovery for Wiko Fever. Watch Full Video on How to Install TWRP on any Android Phone.
  3. Download the below Android 8.1 Oreo for Wiko Fever.
  4. Now boot into TWRP Recovery, Here is the method to boot into Recovery.
