Micromax Selfie 2 launched in India

Micromax has launched the latest smartphone in its Selfie series which is the Micromax Selfie 2. The smartphone, as evident by the name, is concentrated on the selfie-taking smartphone users in India. The launch of the Micromax Selfie 2 has gone under the radar and the smartphone was listed on the Micromax website but there was no announcement of the phone from the company. The highlight of the smartphone is its 8-megapixel front camera with selfie flash. The Micromax Selfie 2 is priced in direct competition with the smartphones like Moto E4 plus and the likes which have a strong hold of the entry-level market.

Talking about the internals of the Micromax Selfie 2, the smartphone comes with a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 processor, 3GB Ram and runs on Android Nougat out of the box. As usual, Micromax is highlighting its Multi-window support, improved doze mode, reply from notification panel and other nougat features. It also comes with 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded with Micro SD card. Talking about the main feature and the highlight of the phone, the Selfie 2 features a 13-megapixel (f/2.0) rear camera with LED flash. As previously said, selfie camera features an 8-megapixel, wide angle Sony315 sensor with f/2.0 aperture & LED flash. It can also capture real time bokeh effects enhanced by software algorithms. Lastly, this whole package runs on 3000mAh battery.

Apart from that, this whole package runs on 3000mAh battery to power the device for a full day. Talking about the pricing and availability details of the smartphone, we have already mentioned that the smartphone went unnoticed as the launch was done only the on its official website without any sort of announcement as well. Thus, there are currently no details about the pricing of the smartphone. However, Micromax is expected to keep the smartphone at a very competitive price to regain its market share.
