December 19, 2020: Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro received the latest software update with build number V12.0.3.0.QECCNXM. The update brings no major changes apart from the November patch, bug fixes, and improvements.

Updated on August 27, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled the second MIUI 12 update for Mi 8 Pro (UD) with software version V12.0.2.0.QECCNXM.

Updated on August 18, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled MIUI 12 for the Mi 8 Pro UD in China with software version V12.0.1.0.QEHCNXM. The update brings new MIUI 12 features, and many new UI changes.

Updated on March 31, 2020: Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro (UD) is receiving the latest security patch over MIUI 11 with other bug fixes. You can download MIUI 11.0.2.0 China Stable ROM for Mi 8 Pro (UD) which is based on Android 10 Q and comes with software version V11.0.2.0.QECCNXM.

Talking about the MIUI 11.0.2.0 update for Mi 8 Pro (UD) Chinese variant, it brings the March 2020 Android Security Patch with improved system security. It also offers a stable MIUI version based on Android 9.0 Pie along with some of the bug fixes and improvements that you can find below in the changelog. The firmware update bumps up a new software version V11.0.2.0.QECCNXM and it’s rolling out via OTA in a phased manner and will take a few days to hit all the units completely.

Check OTA Updates Manually

Due to the incremental roll-out process, the OTA update can take a longer time to arrive than expected. It’s highly recommended to check for OTA updates manually via the device Settings >> About Phone >> Software Update. If the latest update is available, simply download and install it.
