Updated on July 22, 2020: Today Xiaomi started rolling another stable update for Poco F1 with version V22.214.171.124.QEJRUXM which brings July 2020 security patch.
Xiaomi has started pushing the latest firmware update to its Poco F1 (Codename: beryllium) Russian variants based on Android 10 Q. As we always mention that Poco F1 is one of the best budget centric smartphones that come in a competitive price tag. The update is labeled with MIUI 126.96.36.199 for Poco F1 with software version V188.8.131.52.QEJRUXM. You can now download and install it manually.
Now, talking about the new firmware update, it brings the latest April 2020 Android Security Patch Level that improves the system security & stability. Check OTA Updates
Xiaomi mostly rolls out firmware OTA updates in batches and it can take some time to hit all the units completely. Similarly, the Russian Poco F1 variants will take a couple of days or weeks to receive the OTA update notification. If in case, you’re not getting the OTA update notification, then try to check for it via the device Settings > About Phone > Software update.
Alternatively, you can go to the Software Updater app directly to check for the OTA update. If the update is available, then you can download and install it. Make sure to connect your handset to a Wi-Fi network and charge your device more than 60%.
