After the launch Moto G5 Plus in India and Some other countries, Moto now have started sending a new OTA update for Moto G5 Plus units in Brazil. The latest OTA update comes with build number NPN25.137-33 which is still based on latest Android 7.0 Nougat not on latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat. If you are from Brazil, then you can now check your phone to see if you have received the new OTA update. The update is rolling out via OTA (over-the-air) in a phase wise manner.
The new update is rolling out in Brazil as an OTA update which has a changelog of improving the performance of the Moto G5 Plus and fixes few bugs. Once you install the NPN25.137-33 OTA build, you will notice the improvement in audio quality after recording video.
To Install Incremental Android Nougat OTA update on Motorola Moto G5 Plus, you must be running Android Nougat Firmware without any root. Manually Update Android Nougat for Moto G5 Plus (NPN25.137-33) via Recovery
- First of all, Go to Settings –> About Phone –> Tap on Build Number 7 Times.
- Go to Developer Options –> Enable USB Debugging.
- Download Android Nougat for Moto G5 Plus from above and save it in Internal storage.
- Now Reboot Moto G5 Plus to Recovery Mode.
- Select Apply Update from SD Card.
- Select the Downloaded ZIP file from SD Card.
- Wait until Installation process Completes.
- Once the Installation completed. Reboot the Phone.
