When Motorola users are waiting for the Android 10 update, Motorola is still stuck with upgrading their device to the latest security patch. Well, a Security patch is important though! But we all are desperate to taste the Android 10 update on our Motorola device, Today Motorola started rolling the February 2020 Security Patch to Moto G6 with software version PPSS29.55-37-7-6 based on Android 9.0 Pie. In the screenshot shared by a Reddit user, it says that nothing new.
As the update is rolling out via OTA in a gradual process, it may take a few days to hit the update all units properly. However, you can manually check for OTA updates via the device Settings > System > Advanced > System Updates. If you’re interested in this new update including software version PPSS29.55-37-7-6, then you should check the OTA update on an interval basis to get the update notification.
The February 2020 Android Security Patch brings bug fixes and system security improvements for better user experience & stability. Though Motorola has already pushed the latest Android 10 stable update to its couple of Android One models, the Moto G6 device users may have to wait for a while expectedly.
