The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 626 processor clocked at 2.2GHz along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and also offers an extensive memory of about 256GB via the microSD. It runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box. The device also features a 4G enabled dual nano-sim slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack with a 3.1 USB port. The device was built with a water repellent to prevent damage due to moisture.

Verify Mobile Data is enabled

  • From the home screen, tap the arrow icon to display All Apps
  • Scroll to the settings icon and tap
  • Tap the data usage icon
  • Tap the cellular data icon and toggle to on if need be

Verify your Moto Z2 is Connected to your Mobile Network

  • From the home screen, tap the arrow icon to display All Apps
  • Swipe to the settings icon and tap
  • Locate network and connections
  • Choose the appropriate network to connect to

Note: Ensure there is no cellular data blocking you

Ensure the Mobile Network has the correct settings

  • From the home screen, tap the arrow icon to display All Apps
  • Locate the settings icon and tap
  • Locate ‘More’ from the list of options
  • Locate Cellular Networks, then Access Point Names and make sure the carrier selected has the appropriate settings.

Reset Network Settings

  • From the home screen, the arrow icon to display All Apps
  • Navigate to settings and locate the option ‘More’
  • Tap Network Settings Reset
  • Tap Reset Settings
    Note: If prompted, enter the device pin, pattern, password or pattern
  • To confirm, tap Reset Settings

Restart your Device

  • Holding the power button would do the trick

If you are still not getting any internet from your data connection, contact your network provider.
