The HMD Global has started 2020 by started rolling out the latest Android OS version to one of its devices. Nokia 6.1 Plus receiving Android 10 update with a software version V4.10C that comes in a size of 1.3GB. Now, if you don’t know, Android 10 offers a bunch of improvements and newly added features. Nokia 8.1 was the first Nokia devices to receive the Android 10 update last year. Then the company has released the new Android version update for Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 7.1 models.
Apart from the Android 10, the new software update also brings December 2019 Android Security Patch Level for the Nokia 6.1 Plus devices. It basically improves system stability and security. Additionally, the update offers gestures navigation, dark mode, smart reply, enhanced privacy & location controls. Nokia 6.1 Plus: Overview
For your info, the Nokia 6.1 Plus was launched back in August 2018 (also known as Nokia X6). It has a 5.8-inches IPS LCD display (1080×2280 pixels) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo over the Android One program and currently running on Android 9 Pie.
It’s powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB/6GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, dual 16MP+5MP rear cameras with HDR, Panorama, PDAF, depth sensor, dual-LED dual-tone flash. Check OTA Updates
You can check the availability of this update on your device by going to the Settings > System > System Update. Currently, the update is making its way in India and soon it will spread out globally. However, as the OTA update is rolling out in a staged process, you may have to wait for the OTA update notification.
