Updated on Septemeber 20, 2017: HMD Global appears to be gearing up to roll out Android 8.0 Oreo update for its latest flagship device, the Nokia 8. The business has teased the beta update for its latest flagship model on Twitter. Past month, Nokia declared its first flagship device, the Nokia 8. Now only after one month, Juho Sarvikas, the Chief Product Officer in HMD Global has teased the upcoming Nokia 8 Official Android 8.0 Oreo Update.

Juho Sarvikas, the Chief Product Officer in HMD Global, submitted two images by his official Twitter manage, which reveals the Nokia 8 receiving the very latest Android Oreo Beta update. The images reveal a massive Oreo update in below testing, which is approximately 1.3GB in size.

The images indicate it is a beta update, which means it is not prepared for public nonetheless. And as mentioned above, the update will be pushed to all Nokia 8 devices when it’s ready for public release, which, Nokia has not confirmed yet

Google has already revealed that at the end of this season, hardware manufacturers including Essential, General Mobile, HMD Global Home of Nokia Phones, Huawei, HTC, Kyocera, LG, Motorola, Samsung, Sharp, and Sony are scheduled to release or update devices to Android 8.0 Oreo.
