The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which is coupled with 6-12GB of RAM. OnePlus 7 comes with an onboard storage capacity of 128/256GB. The phone comes with an Android 9 Pie and OxygenOS 9 on top. Talking about the cameras, it sports a dual-camera setup with a 48MP primary lens and a 5MP depth sensor. OnePlus 7 is capable of recording 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, 720p@480fps. For selfies, there is a 16MP camera that can record up to 1080p@30fps. There are stereo speakers. It is juiced by a 3700 mAh battery which supports 20W fast charging. The fingerprint scanner is placed under the display, which is an optical scanner.
OnePlus 7 Pro
Talking about the device that stole the limelight from every other smartphone released in 2019, the OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by a still-capable Snapdragon 855 processor which is coupled with 6-12GB of RAM. It offers 128/256GB of onboard storage option and does not come with a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone sports the FLUID AMOLED 90HZ refresh rate display which sizes at 6.67-inches. The panel is a QuadHD display and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
It has a triple camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary lens, 8MP telephoto, and a 16MP ultrawide lens. The phone is capable 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, and 720p@480fps. There is a motorized pop-up camera with a 16MP sensor, that gives the device an all-screen design. There is this immersive dual stereo speaker setup. The fingerprint scanner is placed inside the display. The phone comes with a 4000 mAh battery which supports Fast Charging 30W.

An OnePlus staff member while responding to a user query regarding the Android 11 update for the OnePlus 7 and 7T series, has stated that the process of migrating users from OxygenOS 10 Android 10 to OxygenOS 11 Android 11 will take some more time. This would eventually delay the next Open Beta update for the devices in question. Here is the complete statement:
We know many of you are asking about the next Open Beta build, and we want to address those concerns. As we grow near the release of the OxygenOS 11 release, our focus for the Open Beta software branch has shifted entirely to bringing you the latest flavor of Android. This means the next Open Beta build will be slightly delayed according to our maintenance schedule, but it will already be based on Android 11.
We expect to have exciting news for you in the upcoming weeks, please bear with us a bit longer.
Update 3 (December 1)
As per a staff member in the OnePlus community member, the OnePlus 7 and 7T series will get the Canvas and insight AOD modes with the upcoming OxygenOS 11 update based on Android 11. Here is what the staff member said:

Update 2 (November 2)
OnePlus Chinese forums have now confirmed that the next public beta builds for the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro would be based on Android 11. This seems like OnePlus is all set to introduce the Android 11 OxygenOS 11 update for the duo in December.

As per the latest report by Android Authority, the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are set to receive the Android 11 update in December.
