OnePlus will unveil its OnePlus 8 series in the Q2 of 2020. OnePlus 8 series of smartphones have been in leaks for a few months. To recall soon after the launch of OnePlus 7T, the CAD renders of the upcoming OnePlus 8 series has been live. Earlier we had reported when OnePlus 8 Pro appeared in GeekBench Listing. Additionally, OnePlus 8 was also certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The CAD renders was made available for OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 initially. Later he shared the CAD renders for OnePlus 8 Lite too.
Yesterday, Gizmochina reported the exclusive screen protectors which were designed for the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone. There were two images reported by them and which shows the two different designed screen protectors for OnePlus 8 Pro.
The first image shows a flat-screen protector with a cutout to the top left corner of the screen. This design was first revealed by popular tipster @OnLeaks with his CAD renders.
While the screen protector in the second image has no cutouts, instead it has a curved edge to the edge screen protector.
OnePlus 8 Pro Rumoured Specifications
According to @OnLeaks, the OnePlus 8 Pro will sport a 6.65-inch QHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This would be the first phone from the brand to sport a 120Hz refresh rate display. Earlier in a media conference, OnePlus said that they have successfully tested the 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will continue to equip an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The CAD renders has already revealed that the rear panel will feature a vertically aligned quad-camera setup with an LED flash. This setup includes a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor which couples with a 20MP ultrawide angle sensor and a tertiary 12MP telephoto sensor with support for 5x optical zoom. Additionally, the fourth sensor is the 3D sensor i.e Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. To the front, the phone will reportedly feature a 32MP sensor.
Reports suggest that the IN2023 model number which appeared in GeekBench listing belongs to the OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone. As per the listing, Qualcomm’s flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 865 will power the device. The phone will have 12GB of RAM and will run on Android 10 out of the box. OnePlus 8 Pro will also sport dual-mode 5G connectivity. It will support a range of 5G frequency bands including n1, n41, n78, and n79.
The device lacks a 3.5mm audio jack. Buttons like the power button, volume rocker, alert slider, and redesigned speaker grill and USB-C are present on the edges of the device.
