The Huawei Mate 10 offers some good specifications considering the price tag of the device. The device comes with a 5.90-inch display. The 1.8GHz octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor powers the device which is paired with a RAM of 4 GB. The device has an internal storage of 64 GB and this can be expanded up to 256 GB using microSD. At the rear, a 20 MP camera sensor and a front facing sensor of 8 MP is provided for selfies. The device promises better standby time with a huge 4000 mAh battery. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Steps to perform a Hard reset on Huawei Mate 10

Hard reset or factory reset is a process which will clear all the settings and data from your device. When you perform a hard reset on your device it will be taken into the factory default condition. This can be an effective solution for a lot of firmware issues. The important thing to note is that hard reset will remove all the personal data too. So it is recommended that you make a complete backup of data before performing a hard reset. Hard reset can be performed on Huawei Mate 10 using two methods. Both the methods are listed below.

Method 1:

  1. Power off your device
  2. Press and hold power button and volume button until recovery mode appears
  3. Use volume buttons to highlight ‘wipe data/factory reset’ and use power key to select it
  4. Reboot the system once the process is completed

Method 2:

  1. Open settings
  2. Scroll down and tap on system
  3. Tap on Reset
  4. Choose factory reset
  5. Confirm when prompted
  6. Wait until the device reboots itself
