The newest software from Google brings a variety of functional updates for Pixel 3/3XL devices out there. It goes by build number PQ2A.190305.002 and is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The Pixel C tablet is also getting its fair share of the March update with build OPM8.190305.001. As usual, it is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

How To Download OTA.?
To download the latest March OTA update for the Pixel devices update follow the steps mentioned below.
- Go to Settings --> System menu -->System Update
- Tap on the Check for Update option.
- If you see the new update, then tap on the download button to begin the update process.
The OTA updates are usually of large file size, so the ideal way is to connect to a Wi-Fi network to catch the OTA update. How to Install OTA/Factory Image on Pixel Devices
To install the latest PQ2A.190305.002 update on any of your Pixel devices, you can follow two methods. These are the factory image installation or the ADB sideload the ROM. We have explained both methods in the guide below. Before installing anything, you have to get some tools and follow some regular guidelines. Check it out below.
- Download the latest USB Drivers on your PC.
- Download and Install the ADB and Fastboot tool.
- A PC/Laptop
- A USB Cable
- Make sure that your device has at least 50% battery charge.
- Take a full backup on your phone before flashing the firmware.
- Enable the USB Debugging and OEM Unlock on your device.
- Download and Install the ABD and Fastboot drivers on your windows/MAC.
Step-1 open the ADB fastboot folder on your PC. It may there either on your desktop or C:/ADB i.e. Windows C drive.
Step-2 Next step is to extract the files of respective devices and move the files to the ADB folder.
Step-3 Now in the same ADB folder, press and hold the ‘Shift” key and right-click on anywhere inside the folder to select ‘Open command window here.’
Step-4 In the command prompt windows need to enter a command for which your phone has to be connected to your computer system. The command is as follows
Step-5 Using the following command boot your handset into bootloader mode.
adb reboot bootloader
Step-6 Your device will now automatically reboot and enter the bootloader mode.
Step-7 Now begin the installing the latest ROM on your Pixel devices. Firstly, open the files that are present in the folder of ADB and simultaneously locate the flash-all script. To run the files double click on it to begin the installing process on your phone.
Step-8 You will be asked to press any key to exit as soon as you are through with flashing the respective build for the devices. Please do not exit from the terminal unless you are asked to do so.
Step-9 Finally, reboot your devices. Now you will be running the latest Google Android Security patch for March 2019 with build PQ2A.190305.002 on your Pixel devices.
