Samsung is gearing up many smartphone launches this month in India. Samsung has all set launch the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite to launch on January 23rd. There are some reports that Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite on January 25th. A new microsite has been live on Samsung India’s official website for the upcoming Galaxy “A” series. Although, the microsite doesn’t reveal any names of the upcoming Galaxy “A” series smartphone.
There are some rumors that the upcoming “A” smartphone will be the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71. The microsite has also an option to “notify me”, which confirms that the smartphone will be launched in a month. Samsung hasn’t officially announced the launch event, we’re expecting that the brand will soon announce. Samsung has only launched the Samsung Galaxy A71 And Galaxy A51 in Vietnam. Soon after launch, there were rumors that Samsung will announce the device soon in India.
Samsung Galaxy A51 & A71 Specifications and Rumoured Price
The Samsung Galaxy A51 sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also contains an in-display fingerprint scanner. The in-house Exynos 9611 SoC powers Galaxy A51. The chipset pairs with 4/6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. Further, the storage is expandable via MicroSD card up to 512GB.
Talking about optics, the Galaxy A51 has a quad rear camera set up in an L shaped arrangement. It has a primary 48MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP secondary depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP tertiary macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and finally a 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. To the front, it has a 32MP unit with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Galaxy A51 is packed by 4000 mAh battery which supports up to 15W quick charge which charges over type c. The device is expected to come in 2 variants for India i.e. 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB ROM. The base 4GB + 64GB will be priced at Rs 22,990.
On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A71 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display. All things remaining the same except for the size. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor powers the device, which pairs with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Talking about optics, it has an ‘L’ shaped quad rear camera setup just like the Galaxy A51. Instead of the primary 48MP sensor in Galaxy A51, here the Galaxy A71 sports a primary 64MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture value. The other three sensors being the same. To the front, it also sports the same 32MP f/2.2 sensor.
The device packs a 4500 mAh battery which supports up to 25W quick charge and charges over type c. Sometimes, the pricing of the device will be starting at Rs 29,990, and it is not clear whether the brand launches both variants both variants in India.
