Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ launched: 6-inch display and 3300 mAh battery

Samsung officially launched new members of the Galaxy J series, called Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+. Both the smartphones come with similar specs under the hood but also have some major differences.

Samsung Galaxy J6+

Samsung Galaxy J6+ comes with a 6-inch IPS display that supports 720 x 1480 pixels of resolution and offers 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone offers around 73.6% screen-to-body ratio and around 274 PPI density ratio. It powered by Quad-core CPU under the hood which clocks at 1.4 GHz along with Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 chipset. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. The body dimensions of the phone are 161.4 x 76.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 178 grams.

Galaxy J6+

The company launched two RAM and memory variants of the Galaxy J6+, one comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal storage and other comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage option. Users will get one of them variants depending on markets. Unfortunately, there is no micro SD card slot on board. The phone comes with Adreno 308 GPU on board for better graphics experience.

The Galaxy J6+ featured with dual camera sensors on the back side along with LED flash, panorama and HDR. There are a 13-megapixel main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, AF and 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and depth sensor. On the front side, there is an 8-megapixel camera with a f/1.9 aperture for selfies and video calls. the front camera also comes with a dedicated LED flash.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Which makes it the company first smartphone that comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the right side of the phone, there is a power/unlock button and on the left side, the volume rockers key and SIM tray present. The Galaxy J6+ packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 3300 mAh battery inside the body, there is no fast charging feature present. The phone is available in Black, Gray and Red color options.

In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy J6+ is a dual SIM smartphone and comes with MicroUSB port, Bluetooth 4.2, and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity options. The users will get NFC feature depending on markets.

Samsung Galaxy J4+ comes with the same 6-inch display with that supports 720 x 1480 pixels of resolution as the Galaxy J6+. The body dimensions of the phone are 161.4 x 76.9 x 7.9 mm and weighs 178 grams. The phone available in Black, Gold and Pink color options. It has the same processor Quad-core Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 which clocks 1.4 GHz. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.
