Samsung has launched a new smartphone in the Indian markets after launching the Galaxy S8 and S8+ as well as the J series smartphones in the country. As far as the new smartphone launch is concerned, the company has launched a new smartphone named as the Galaxy J7 NXT. This smartphone from Samsung has been priced at Rs. 11,490 in the Indian markets. The smartphone will be available in India through the various offline channels but there has been no word about the online availability of this smartphone.
As far as the specifications of the smartphone are concerned, the Galaxy J7 NXT comes with 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It comes powered by an Exynos octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz however it is unknown whether the processor is an Exynos variant or Snapdragon variant. We expect it to be the Exynos 7870 SoC as seen on the Galaxy J7 Pro & J7 2016. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 256GB. Apart from the specifications, the smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear shooter with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. With the larger f/1.9 aperture, the rear camera on the Galaxy J7 NXT should give better output in low-light conditions.
Talking about further specifications of the phone, the smartphone has a LED flash on both the front as well as the back of the phone which should be able to produce better selfie pictures in low-light conditions as well. Also, the Galaxy J7 NXT has a 3,000mAh removable battery which is enough for powering the device for a day. Apart from that, the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and has S-Bike, Ultra Data Saving, and Ultra Power Saving modes. The smartphone is available in Black and Gold color variants in India.
