Sony announced the Xperia XZ Premium smartphone which is the flagship smartphone from Sony for this year at the MWC in Barcelona earlier this year. Later, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium was launched in India and then in the US last month. Now, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium has been launched in Portugal. In the country, Sony has launched the Xperia XZ Premium at EUR 799. The phone has been made available in Luminous Chrome and Deepsea Black colors. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has the advantage of being world’s first smartphone to rock memory embedded camera which is capable of recording videos at 960 frames per second. Talking about the slow motion video, the smartphone has four times slower slo-mo videos than any other phones in the market currently.
Talking about the specifications of the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, the smartphone is powered by a 4K 5.5-inch Triluminos HDR display (2160 x 3840 pixels resolution) with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU. It carries a 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM combo. The lights are kept on by a 3230mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat. It also carries IP 68 rating making it water and dust proof and a front fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button.
Apart from this specifications, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium’s main attraction is its camera which is a 19MP rear camera and the 13MP selfie camera which comes with the new ‘Motion Eye’ feature which works by allowing your Xperia phone click four pictures in the one second before you hit the shutter button. Also, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is already available in a number of countries including UK, Germany, Austria, Malaysia, South Korea, India and US. However, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium is launched without a fingerprint sensor in the US due to some patent issues in the country.
