One of Ulefone’s latest premium flagship smartphone, the Ulefone Power 3 now has a smaller and less expensive variant – the Ulefone Power 3S. Albeit less pricey, the Ulefone Power 3S still very much maintains touches that makes it indeed magical and yes, POWERFUL!
You would remember that the Ulefone Power 3 came with state-of-the-art features like the Face ID recognition technology, prodigious RAM (6GB), 18:9 aspect ratio, quad-camera, a monster battery backup (6,000mAh) etc. at a surprisingly affordable price. With the Power 3, Ulefone proved that you really need not break the bank or empty your purse to get a decent smartphone – to have a taste of recent technology.
The Ulefone Power 3S has similar specs with the Ulefone Power 3 but the Power 3S in review has reduced specs. See major specs of the Ulefone Power 3S below!

Coming with the same smooth metal body finish as its predecessor. Design-wise, Ulefone made no changes – not even in its slightest form – to the Ulefone Power 3S. Like the standard Power 3 smartphone, a heavy, thick but pleasant looking device is what you get on the Ulefone Power 3S.
The device is ‘long’ as a result of its 18:9 aspect ratio and has only 3 hard keys – power/lock button, volume up and volume down button – all situated at the right hand side, left when viewed from the rear. One-third of the rear’s real-estate houses the dual rear camera, fingerprint scanner, and dual LED flash light.
As the above image clearly reveals, there is a USB Type-C port at the middle of the device on the bottom. And flanked to the left and right of the Type-C port are the device’s loudspeaker grills.
Presently, there are only two colour options of the device available; Black and Rose Gold.
The Ulefone Power 3S comes with a screen that cover almost 80% of the device’s frontal (read: Full View). The screen is sized 5.99-inch and comes with one of the best display quality you can see in a smartphone. Underneath the scratch resistant 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 is a FHD+ resolution and 402 ppi display.
Processor, OS, and Storage
The Ulefone Power 3S uses a MediaTek Helio P23 SoC. The Helio P23 is best known for providing optimum dual camera and dual SIM 4G LTE performance on smartphones. This means you should expect the best from the Power 3S I’m terms of smartphone photography and connectivity.
The chip has 8 cores based on the Cortex-A53 architecture that can clock up to 2.0 GHz frequency. The Power 3S comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in memory. Of course there is SD card support that allows storage expansion of up to 256GB.
Speaking of one of the best quad camera smartphone I’ve seen, it’s got to the Ulefone Power 3S. The device comes with two Samsung S5k3p3 lenses on the rear; a primary 16 Megapixels, and a 5 Megapixels with Dual-LED flash.
On the front, there also exist two lenses; primary 13-megapixels and secondary 5-megapixels with a single LED flash. The rear and front dual camera set-up are identical to those if the Power 3.
Powering the Ulefone ‘Power’ 3S is a ‘powerful’ 6,350mAh battery. The battery is built-in and hence, not removable or detachable. The colossal battery can be blamed for the heavy and thick nature of the device. The device feature the Quick Charge technology and has an overall charge time of 2 and half hours.
Depending on how intense you use the Power 3S, the device can conveniently provide at least a day’s usage.
