The Ulefone T1 is the company’s latest flagships managed to win many customers’ hearts. But many users have been complaining about the storage and a design identical to many other Chinese smartphones. So the company has decided to come in with an improved variant of this phone. There are not many changes in comparison to the regular model, but the manufacturer ‘has fixed’ all the shortcomings talked above. The Ulefone T1 Premium Edition comes with another coating that can be confused with Barcelona FC colors. In this sense, the Ulefone T1 can be compared with the OPPO R11 Barcelona Edition. We will come back to this idea later. As for now, the second enhancement refers to the storage. It has been enlarged from 64GB to 128GB.
Ulefone T1 Premium Edition Appearance
Though all the latest smartphones adopt an 18:9 aspect ratio full-screens, the Ulefone T1 Premium Edition doesn’t come with such a display. It sports a 5.5-inch screen with a regular 16:9 aspect ratio and Full HD resolution. The display is also covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it from minor scratches. Moreover, it is covered with an oleophobic coating to avoid fingerprints left on the display.
There is a home button placed under the screen that can be also used for fingerprint-related operations.
A front camera accompanied by a flashlight and a speaker is placed above the screen. So we can state when looking at its front panel no differences can be noticed in comparison to the original model.
When turning into the back, we can see an identical design found in the OPPO R11 Barcelona Edition. Thus it uses two colors of red and blue, and there is a gold line where these two colors meet. A dual-camera is placed on the left upper corner paired with a LED flash. All these design elements are the same in comparison to the OPPO model. However, there are a few differences. The antenna ribbons on the Ulefone T1 are black. As for the OPPO model, it uses a double-U antenna design. Moreover, the latter has a Barca logo placed on the middle lower part. As the Ulefone T1 only looks like this handset, it couldn’t use this logo. At last, the Ulefone logo is printed vertically unlike the OPPO logo that is placed horizontally.
On the left, we can find a SIM card slot supporting dual-SIM cards. But the second one can be sacrificed to enlarge the storage.
As expected, the volume rocker and the power button are on the right side.
The Ulefone T1 Premium Edition comes with a 3.5mm audio jack. It is placed on the top.
As for the bottom side, there is a USB Type-C port for faster data transfer as well as charging. There is also a stereo speaker.
Ulefone T1 Premium Edition Performance
The processor of both models is the most attractive feature. The Ulefone T1 Premium Edition comes with a MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core chip. It runs on a 16nm process node and clocks at up to 2.6GHz.
