Updated on July 10, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled the June 2020 security patch version of MIUI 12 for Mi 10 with build number V12.0.4.0.QJBCNXM. Earlier the device received V12.0.1.0.QJBCNXM which now bumps to MIUI 12 V12.0.4.0.
After Redmi K30 5G, Xiaomi rolling the MIUI 12 update for Mi 10 in China. The update is rolling with software version V12.0.1.0.QJBCNXM which brings many new features based on Android 10. If you want to try, you can manually install the MIUI 12.0.1.0 China Stable ROM for Mi 10.
The new firmware update brings the all-new MIUI 12 stable version with redesigned system animation, improved UI, a bunch of privacy protection features, floating window, other system optimizations, Xiaomi Health, Control Center, Accessibility, Dark mode, Trips, System, Mi Carrier Services, System, Messaging, Home screen, Camera, Screen Time, Weather, File Manager, Calendar, Notes, Security improvements, Xiaomi Cloud, and others.
It also bundled with May 2020 Android Security Patch level for improved system security and privacy protection. The May 2020 patchset fixes a security vulnerability in the system component that could enable a remote attacker to harm the device system and data. Check for OTA Updates
Xiaomi always roll-out the firmware OTA update in batches and it may take a while to hit all the units completely. So, you can either check for the OTA update manually or can flash the firmware file by following the guide below.
In order to do that, head over to the device Settings > About Phone > Software Update > Check for updates. Alternatively, you can head over to the Software Updater app in order to check for the same. If available, just download and install it using the Wi-Fi network. Make sure to charge your handset at least up to 50%.

How to Install MIUI 12.0.1.0 China Stable ROM for Mi 10 (umi)
Installing the stock ROM or upgrading the MIUI version on Xiaomi devices is comparatively easy. But you should follow all the pre-requirements and downloads below before proceeding.
Pre-Requirements:
- Supported for: Xiaomi Mi 10 (umi) only. The device should be running on stock ROM to apply the update.
