Verizon ASUS Zenfone V Live Android Oreo Update is now rolling out. V Live is the Verizon exclusive budget device from ASUS. With the new system update, the device gets a new software version which goes by V15.0405.1808.30. Latest software also brings the August 2018 Android security patch for the device. The patch is two months late but that’s all we can expect for a one-year-old budget phone.

Though we are now getting used to the latest Android Pie OS from Google, there are users yet to get a glimpse of the Oreo. ASUS V live users will now experience the new features of Oreo such as notification dots, Picture-in-Picture Mode, Multi-display support, Autofill API etc. Also, the device will have improved battery life and enhanced Do Not Disturb mode. The Verizon ASUS Zenfone V Live Android Oreo Update is moving over-the-air. It will be reaching the phones in a phase-wise manner. If you are not into waiting for the OTA, you can manually check for it. Go to device Settings > About phone > Software updates > Tap on Check for Updates

If you see the software update with version V15.0405.1808.30 is available then download it. As it is a system update, the software package will weigh in Gigabytes. So, connect to a Wi-Fi network to download the Oreo update for ASUS V Live. Make sure to have 50%  or more battery charge on your device. A low battery is not ideal for installing a new system update.
