With the new system update, the device gets a new software version which goes by V15.0405.1808.30. Latest software also brings the August 2018 Android security patch for the device. The patch is two months late but that’s all we can expect for a one-year-old budget phone.

If you see the software update with version V15.0405.1808.30 is available then download it. As it is a system update, the software package will weigh in Gigabytes. So, connect to a Wi-Fi network to download the Oreo update for ASUS V Live. Make sure to have 50% or more battery charge on your device. A low battery is not ideal for installing a new system update.
