Samsung’s Galaxy Watch is getting a new update from Verizon which improves the heart rate monitoring sensor’s reliability. The Verizon Galaxy Watch Software Update is rolling out to both of its 42mm and 46mm variants. The former is getting the new update with build R815USQU1BSA7 whereas the 46mm is receiving the software with version R805USQU1BSA7.
Apart from the heart rate monitor improvement, the Galaxy Watch software update brings no other updates. To download it, go to the Galaxy Gear Wearable app on the Android device you use. Tap on the Settings > About Watch> Tap Update now >Tap Download updates manually. From the ‘Update Gear software’ screen, tap on Install > tap OK.
