We will talk about disable system apps and uninstalling them via setting up ADB commands. So let’s start:

Enable USB Debugging in Vivo V11 and V11 Pro

Before proceeding with any techy trick, we need to enable USB debugging. This will help our computer to connect with the device more efficiently. Follow the steps given below to enable USB debugging in Vivo V11 & V11 Pro devices.

This command will load all the adb devices which are connected to your computer. If you don’t see your device here. You probably need to install device drivers again.

adb shell

This command opens the adb shell

pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.bbk.launcher2'

This will delete the default launcher on your device. Make sure you already have installed a new one before executing this command.

pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.vivo.browser'

This will delete the default browser. You can later install chrome instead.

pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.vivo.email'

This command will delete the default email client from your device.

pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.google.android.youtube'

This will delete the pre-installed youtube app from your device. If you want it again, you can download the same from the play store.

pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.google.android.music'

This will delete Play Music app from your device.

pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.google.android.videos'

This command will delete the default video player from your device. Make sure you install a third party video player app (e.g. MX Player)

pm uninstall -k --user 0 'com.emoji.keyboard.touchpal.vivo'

This will delete the default keyboard available in your device. Please make sure to download Google Keyboard on your device before you proceed to execute this.

exit

This will exit the adb command shell

adb reboot

You can reboot your device with this command

Note: A simple factory reset will bring back all the system apps which you have deleted. So in case you accidentally delete a system app, you can recover it by performing a factory reset.
