A Chinses smartphone company launched its latest mid-range smartphone in Thailand yesterday, called Vivo V11. Today, the company launched the same smartphone in India as Vivo V11 Pro. The V11 Pro is a successor of the Vivo V9 which launched earlier this year. There is no big difference between Vivo V11 and V11 Pro, only internal memory change. The V11 Pro is manufactured in India and the company launched it at Rs. 25,990 (around $360) price tag. As of now, the phone available for pre-order and sale will begin from 12th September. It will available via all major online and offline retailers across India.
Vivo V11 Pro comes with sandwich design, there is a glass panel on the front as well as on the back side and plastic frame middle of them. The V11 Pro comes with 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display that supports 1080 x 2340 pixels of resolution and offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone has waterdrop notch design on top of the display that carries selfie camera. The company called it “Halo FullView” display. It comes with a bezel-less design from the sides, it offers supports 91.27% screen to body ratio and offers 402 PPI density.
The V11 Pro powered by Octa-Core CPU under the hood which clocks at 2.2 GHz along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE chipset. The phone comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage in the Indian market while outside the country, the phone has 128 GB internal storage and known as Vivo V11. Users get the best graphics experience when playing graphics games and video, the company used Adreno 512 GPU inside. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box along with FunTouch OS 4.5 UI running on top. However, the company did not say any word about the Android 9 Pie update for the phone.
The phone comes with micro SD card slot on board that supports up to 256 GB external storage. The Vivo V11 Pro featured with vertically placed dual camera sensors at top of the left corner on the back side along with LED flash. There are a 12-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.8″ lens size and dual pixel PDAFand secondary 5-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture and depth sensor. The rear camera also comes with artificial intelligence (AI) based scene recognition, AI assistant for portrait mode and AI Backlight. On the front side, it has a 24-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The front camera of the phone comes with f/2.0 aperture, HDR support, and AI Selfie Lighting. The V11 Pro smartphone featured with Infrared Face Access which means users can unlock the phone with facial recognition even in low-light conditions.
The Vivo V11 Pro packed with Non-removable Li-Po 3400 mAh capacity battery inside the body which supports Dual Engine Fast Charging and 9-layer of protection. The phone comes with under display fingerprint scanner. Which makes its first phone for the company’s Vseries. At the event, the company said we used the fourth-generation fingerprint scanner in V11 Pro smartphone and claimed that it will 50% faster than the previous generations. The phone also comes with Game Mode 4.0 feature which delivers an amazing gaming experience.
In terms of connectivity, The Vivo V11 Pro comes with dual SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE, EDR, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, FM Radio, micro USB 2.0, USB On-The-Go and 3.5 mm audio jack port. The phone has an accelerometer, proximity and compass sensors. It will available in Indian market at Dazzling Gold and Starry Night Black color options.
