New Update on June 12, 2020: Vivo India has recently mentioned that though they have released the Android 10 update for the Vivo Z1x, it’s in the testing process and may take a while to arrive on all the Z1x units completely. It means that the Vivo Z1x Indian variant may take a couple of days or weeks to hit the surface.

New Update on June 8, 2020: All the Vivo Z1x users should start rejoicing as the company has finally started pushing the Vivo Z1x Android 10 over Funtouch OS 10 stable version. As you can see the below details that it was previously expected to receive the Android 10 update for Vivo Z1x model in the first week of June this year, that report comes out true. Although this isn’t the first week exactly, it’s better late than never.
All the Vivo Z1x Indian variant users are lucky enough to receive the update at first. The new software update comes with the software version Vivo Rev 6.8.15 that weighs around 3.32GB in size. This is quite hefty in size and we will recommend connecting to the Wi-Fi for the faster and stable update. It brings all the Android 10 native features along with Funtouch OS 10 customizations and improvements.
The update offers new icons, redesigned UI, new animations & shortcuts, new live wallpapers, edge lighting effects, JOVI smart assistant, App Sharing, and more. It’s also worth mentioning that even though the update is waving gradually, it’s still in testing mode. Recently, one of the Twitter users has shared details about the FuntouchOS 10 update. According to the Vivo’s R&D team, the Vivo Z1x would receive the FuntouchOS 10 update in the first week of June 2020 expectedly. Meanwhile, the Vivo Z1 Pro will also receive the same followed by the sibling. However, Vivo hasn’t mentioned anything on it officially.
It has not been announced for the lockdown. But the Android 10 and funtouchOS 10 has been rolled to vivo v17 and v17pro, and next week the update is rolling to vivo s1pro and June 1st week the update is rolling to vivo s1, z1x last week of June it's for Vivo z1pro.
