Xiaomi is gearing up for its 10th anniversary by launching the Mi 10 series of smartphones. One of the Mi 10 series smartphones gets the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certification. The certification reveals that it is the new Mi 10 Standard Edition. This certification gives the network license for the upcoming smartphone. There were many other leaks about the device which also includes the spy images which shows the quad rear camera setup and the punch-hole screen.
Back in November 2019, some Xiaomi 5G smartphone passes the 3C certification. The certification was for smartphones with M2001J1E and M200J1C. The 3C certification shows that the upcoming 5G smartphones support up to 66W fast charging. Additionally, two other Xiaomi 5G smartphone has also passed the 3C certification. These smartphones have a model number of M2001J2E and M200J2C. However, these 5G smartphones only support 30W fast charging.
According to reports, these phones which passed the 3C certifications are from the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 series. Amongst them, Xiaomi Mi 10 Standard Edition sports the model number “M2001J2E”. Presently this smartphone has already a radio transmission license along with 3C certification and a network access license.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Design
An alleged live image of the upcoming Mi 10 has been surfaced. Previously the renders have already shown the design elements of the smartphone. Although, live images give a different view compared to the renders. As per the previous render, the smartphone has a dual punch-hole that was placed to the right of the screen and the phone has a curved edge. But the live image shows that the smartphone has only a single punch hole is placed at the top left corner of the smartphone. Both the render and live image conform the device has extremely narrow bezels on all borders. Additionally, in the image, we can also see that the ‘MIUI 11.0.2’ version displayed on the settings interface of the phone. As expected the smartphone will run on MIUI 11 on top of Android 10.
Earlier there were reports that the quad rear cameras are arranged vertically and the primary sensor has a 100MP resolution. The render and image conform to the vertically arranged quad camera setup. Talking about the processor, the Mi 10 series packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform. The device will also support SA and NSA dual-mode 5G. Thus, we are dealing with the first dual-mode 5G flagship of the Xiaomi Mi series. We aren’t sure that the spy image is real or not. As usual, there is a high chance of being fake.
